Aamir Khan’s film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ has earned 12 crores at the box office on the first day of release. The story of the film revolves around the life of a kindhearted person Lal (Khan). He narrates important events of his life, which correspond to many iconic events of Indian history. According to producers Viacom18 Motion Pictures, ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ has earned a total of Rs 12 crore in India.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ has earned Rs 8.20 crore at the domestic box office on the first day. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film is the story of Lala Kedarnath (Kumar) and his relationship with his four sisters. He deals with issues like dowry and ‘body shaming’ to get his sisters married. According to Zee Studios, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ has earned Rs 8.20 crore at the domestic box office on the first day.
