Hailing from Haryana’s Hisar district, Phogat (43), a former Tiktok star and contestant of reality TV show Bigg Boss, died under suspicious circumstances in Goa on the intervening night of August 22-23. She had reached Goa with two of her male companions two days before her death. A total of five people, including two of his associates, have been arrested so far by the Goa Police in connection with the alleged murder of Phogat.
