Famous Turkish singer Melek Mosso cut his hair on stage during the performance. He cut his hair on the stage expressing grief over the hijab protests in Iran and the death of Mahsa Amini.
Recently, in Iran, a 22-year-old woman, Mahsa Amini, was arrested by the Iran Police for not wearing a hijab. In custody, the police hit the woman so much that she died. Which is being opposed by the women of the world.
Moso is known for his support of women’s rights. In 2020 Melek Mosso was removed from the stage for criticizing the release of a rapist police officer in Turkey. To which Moso said,
“If you want to live freely, live freely, if you want to talk, speak. Girls, you have your own wings. You don’t need to be under anyone’s wing.”
